Yup...I hate us, too.
I was actually driving around looking for a spot the other day and even though I could fit in some I say no because I care too much about the car and don’t trust anyone NOT to hit me.
I ended up parking near construction equipment with a sign saying to leave by 7am.

You got a police report for that little damage? Around here it's required for injury or damage estimate (on scene) exceeds 1500 bucks or on request. No police report = No carfax ding.

Well apparently in Mass they don’t have insurance cards so I wasn’t really sure how I was gonna get the info otherwise. Although my insurance agent looked up the plate # and got everything.

I thought all the insurance info was on the car’s registration paperwork up in MA (lived there many moons ago, memory could be foggy) instead of carrying a separate card. They’re supposed to let you copy off that when you’re exchanging insurance cards, but yeah, it’s confusing. I imagine they get hassled a lot when they’re pulled over out of state.

No idea, all I know is they have enough info to get the dude’s insurance to pay for it I guess.
